Matthew Mason, Jewish Mosaic Arts specialist in ceramic mosaics, is working on the central section of the Torah. The New Tamid image is being fabricated from cut stone. The blue river of shapes is stained glass, and is a symbol of the Diaspora as well as the Jewish community moving through life with the Torah.

The overall tripartite image is abstract, so that the viewer can bring their personal interpretation to the artwork.
